Description

Redesign of the cover of the novel “Mrs. Dalloway” (1925) by Virginia Woolf.

Inspired while reading the novel I wanted to create a new cover for it that reflects the writing style of the book. The cover illustrates the stream of consciousness that is a crusial part in the writing style of the novel.

While reading the book I kept on making notes about the collective consciousness and the red thread that connects all the charecters in the book. I took inspiration from different parts of the book; for example Mrs.Dalloway’s window glowing from the outside of the house and the metaphorical red thread.
